Supermarket

2012 – This project questions the relationship between art production and the value of products in the consumer market. Often, corporations pay attention to the design of an object while continuing to produce a low-quality product. Moreover, the price will increase exponentially when the same exact product is transformed into an artwork. A series of sculptures were produced with gypsum and polyester casts of real consumer products. The photographs are visual illustrations of the objects captured using a mobile phone camera.
